The Inn is a charming 18th century building with a wonderful olde-worlde atmosphere. A hostelry has been here since the 1700's and in the days of stage coaches the inn was an important posting stage.

The Wheatsheaf Inn is an independently owned family run business. We use the best Scottish produce delivered to your table with care and imagination.

In good weather you can enjoy drinks and a meal in our beer garden. Local Attractions

We have some of Ayrshire's finest golf courses, for example, Royal Troon and Dundonald on our doorstep. Ayr Racecourse is just 10 minutes away.

The Burns Experience and Tam O'Shanters Cottage are just 20 minutes away. Scotland's oldest working church, Symington Parish and Dundonald Castle are close by and well worth a visit!
